Terms of Service

By accessing, browsing, or using UnfollowerTracker (the "Service"), whether as a guest or a paying user, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (the "Terms") and our Privacy Policy, incorporated herein by reference. These Terms apply in their entirety each time you use the Service.

If you are accessing the Service on behalf of an organisation, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.

All content, source code, front-end design, user-interface layouts, animations, visual assets, trade dress, logo, copy, and any other element of UnfollowerTracker (collectively, the "Materials") are the exclusive proprietary property of UnfollowerTracker and are protected under applicable intellectual property laws, including French droit d'auteur, EU copyright directives, and international copyright treaties.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the Service solely for its intended personal, non-commercial purpose. This licence does not include any right to:

• Copy, reproduce, redistribute, publish, or create derivative works based on the Materials
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code of the Service
• Clone, fork, replicate, or repurpose the UI/UX design, animations, or visual identity of this Service
• Remove, alter, or obscure any copyright, trademark, or proprietary notice
• Use the Materials for any commercial purpose without prior written consent

Any feedback, suggestions, or ideas you voluntarily submit regarding the Service may be used by UnfollowerTracker without any obligation of compensation, attribution, or confidentiality.

Specifically, and without limiting the generality of the foregoing, UnfollowerTracker makes no warranty or representation that:

• The Service will meet your requirements or expectations
• The Service will be available, uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free at any time
• The results generated by the Service — including follower/following lists — will be 100% complete or accurate
• Any errors or defects in the Service will be corrected
• The Service will remain compatible with all devices, browsers, or operating system versions

The accuracy of results depends entirely on the integrity and format of the data export file provided by the user. UnfollowerTracker does not access Instagram directly and cannot verify whether a provided data export is complete, current, or unmodified.

UnfollowerTracker operates by parsing the data export files that Instagram makes available to its users under its "Download Your Information" feature. This tool does not use Instagram's official API, does not access Instagram accounts, and does not interact with Instagram's servers in any way.

Service volatility: Because the Service depends on the format of Instagram's data exports — which are controlled entirely by Meta — the following may occur at any time and without prior notice:

• Instagram may change its data export format, causing the Service to produce incorrect, incomplete, or no results
• The Service may be temporarily suspended while format updates are developed and deployed
• The Service may be permanently discontinued at any time, with or without notice, at the sole discretion of the operator
• Features or functionality may change, be removed, or be replaced without prior notice

UnfollowerTracker will make reasonable commercial efforts to update the parsing logic when Instagram changes its export format, but provides no guarantee as to the timeline or success of such updates. No refunds or credits will be issued due to service downtime caused by third-party platform changes.

UnfollowerTracker operates on a freemium model. Core functionality is available to all users at no cost. The following monetisation methods are in use and you expressly acknowledge them by using the Service:

• Free tier: Users may view a limited preview of their follower analysis results at no charge. The free tier may be subject to the display of third-party advertisements, which may include static banner ads and third-party video advertisements. Viewing such advertisements may be a condition of unlocking certain free-tier features.
• Premium unlock: Full, unabridged results may be unlocked via a one-time payment. This payment grants access to the full results for that single session only. There is no subscription, no recurring charge, and no user account retained between sessions.
• Third-party ad networks: Advertisements are served by independent third-party networks (such as Google AdSense or equivalent providers). UnfollowerTracker does not control the content of these advertisements and is not responsible for any products, services, or claims made therein.

Your use of UnfollowerTracker must at all times comply with applicable law and the spirit of these Terms. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that:

• You are the legitimate owner of the Instagram account whose data export you upload, or you have obtained the express consent of the account holder
• You will use the Service solely for personal, lawful, non-commercial purposes
• The results generated will not be used to harass, stalk, intimidate, discriminate against, or maliciously target any individual or group
• You will not use any automated tool, script, bot, spider, crawler, scraper, or other programmatic means to access, query, or extract data from the Service
• You will not attempt to probe, scan, test the vulnerability of, or circumvent any security or access-control feature of the Service
• You will not interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service or its infrastructure
• You will not use the Service in any manner that could damage UnfollowerTracker's reputation, brand, or relationship with its users or partners
• You will not impersonate any person or entity or falsely represent your affiliation with any person or entity

Specifically, UnfollowerTracker bears zero liability for:

• Any decision you make — social, personal, or professional — based on the data or results generated by the Service
• Any inaccuracy, incompleteness, or misinterpretation of results due to changes in Instagram's export format
• Any loss of, or inability to access, the Service — whether temporary or permanent — resulting from platform changes, maintenance, force majeure, or discontinuation
• Any damage to your device or data resulting from your use of the Service
• The content, accuracy, or conduct of third-party advertisements displayed within the Service
• Any consequences arising from your violation of these Terms or applicable law

In all cases, our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising under or in connection with these Terms shall not exceed the amount you have paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or €10 (ten euros), whichever is greater.

Nothing in these Terms shall be construed to exclude or limit liability in a manner not permissible under applicable mandatory law (including consumer protection laws applicable to residents of EU Member States).

EU consumer rights: If you are a consumer resident in an EU Member State, you may also benefit from any mandatory consumer-protection provisions applicable in your country of habitual residence that cannot be contractually waived. In such cases, those mandatory provisions shall apply alongside — but not replace — the choice of French law and jurisdiction above, to the extent permitted by applicable conflict-of-law rules.

The European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform is available at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr as an alternative dispute-resolution mechanism for consumers based in the EU.

UnfollowerTracker reserves the right to modify, revise, or replace these Terms at any time at its sole discretion. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, display a notice on the Service.

Your continued use of the Service following the posting of revised Terms constitutes your irrevocable acceptance of those changes. If you do not agree with the updated Terms, you must cease using the Service immediately. We encourage you to review this page periodically.

UnfollowerTracker also reserves the right at any time to:

• Modify, suspend, or permanently discontinue the Service or any feature thereof
• Impose limits on certain features or restrict access to parts of the Service
• Change or introduce fees for features that were previously free

UnfollowerTracker will not be liable to you or to any third party for any such modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Service.
